Chapter 6 Logic Gates

This chapter provides an overview of the hardware components that are used to build a computer. We will limit the discussion to electronic computers, which use transistors to switch between two different voltages. One voltage represents \(\binary{0}\text{,}\) the other \(\binary{1}\text{.}\) The hardware devices that implement the logical operations are called Logic Gates.
